The Black Forest is one of Germany most tradition-rich areas - this affords you a wealth of things to do - from sightseeing to museums, from breweries to fly fishing. If country walks and rambling are your thing, then you will find our area a paradise. Throughout the summer there are numerous village fairs, and many opportunities for gift-shopping. An 18-hole golf course is just 20 minutes drive from us. If ski-ing is your thing, then the winter resort of Kniebis is only 30 minutes drive.

Schenkenzell is a delightful hamlet over 750 years old - amongst other things it boasts a delightful heated outdoor heated swimming pool (open may - September).

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the Black Forest, we have compiled a Region-page of events and places to visit - its extensive but by no means complete - about an hours drive away you could be in Strassbourg, Switzerland, Lake Constance, Freiburg or Stuttgart. Should you wish, we can offer guided tours of the region also.

Our 100 year old house, has been lovingly renovated and restored in the style of a traditional Black Forest Guest house and lies only 5 minutes walk from the local train station.

We have a very large garden which you can use to sit and soak up the sun, or take tea by the pond. In the evenings you could sit and enjoy a drink by the camp fire, or have a self cooked barbecue.

We have a health consultancy practise, and we also run therapeutic seminars and trainings throughout the year. Treatments available include massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, diet counseling and kinesiology.

We have accommodation to suit all requirements - a self Catering apartment (sleeps up to 4), as well as single, twin, double and double rooms with ensuite facilities.
